I love the fall and the back to school season — it’s a time to refresh, reflect, and be thankful. As we head into this season, I think about what we have to be thankful for. At the VLP, thanks to you, we are celebrating our 25th year.
25 Years — it’s an incredible milestone — something we hope you will celebrate with us.
Read about what the VLP has been up to lately — we’ve been busy! We moved to our new office at 44 Court Street in April, we had our most successful Anniversary Gala ever at BAM in May, we have new foreclosure staff and have partnered with Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams to provide legal clinics to Brooklynites facing foreclosure.
We look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events–the 10th Annual Liz Padilla Memorial 5k on October 4th in Prospect Park and the VLP’s Volunteer Recognition Event on December 1st.
Celebrate your contribution to the VLP’s 25 years–read the inspiring stories of our featured volunteers whose unique commitment to pro bono has made the VLP what it is today. Together, we can ensure that the VLP will continue to provide critical legal services to those that need it most.
All the best,
