ABOUT THE YPB:
The VLP’s Young Professionals Board (YPB) was established to support the organization’s Board of Directors and its goal of making the legal system more accessible and equitable for low-income Brooklyn residents. The YPB unites rising talent professionals across the legal and non-legal sectors who are motivated to utilize their time, experience, and diverse skill sets in service of the VLP’s mission. The YPB serves as an advisor to and agent of the full Board, driving an array of activities including community outreach and program expansion, event planning and fundraising, and providing strategic guidance to the organization.

MORE ABOUT EMILY WILSON:
Emily Wilson is a comedian based in New York City. From live stand-up, to internet videos to original comedy songs, she performs her material all over the City (and now the internet). Her favorite form of comedy during COVID times has been hopping on her Instagram story and ranting about life, with topics ranging from Spectrum is the worst company known to humankind, to how insane it is that American culture has decided to omit bidets. When there’s not a global pandemic, you can find her at her monthly comedy show, The Emily Wilson Show, at Gran Torino in Williamsburg.

Please contact Melissa Starr, VLP Senior Director of Development & Strategic Initiatives for more information about the event or for additional opportunities to connect with us.

The VLP is a not-for-profit public charity recognized by the IRS under 501(c)(3). Tax ID: 11-3155182. Except for $25 per ticket or $40 per “double pour” ticket, sponsorships and tickets are tax-deductible. Donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
